Dr. Andrey Espinoza, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Andrey Espinoza has been providing state of the art cardiovascular care in Hunterdon County since 2004. He arrived from Philadelphia after completing advanced training in a broad spectrum of cardiovascular disease states including carotid and peripheral arterial disease.
With a keen interest and expertise in the areas of cardiovascular genetics, sports cardiology, and cardio-oncology, Dr. Espinoza offers advanced services to his patients in their treatment of overlapping disease states and care across different specialties.
Dr. Espinoza is a husband, father, son, brother and humbled physician who is grateful for the opportunity to care for those in their time of need and to impact their lives and their families’ lives in a positive way. Read more…
Acute care nurse practitioner
Kathryn Minikus is a board-certified adult and geriatric acute care nurse practitioner who specializes in critical care nursing and cardiology. Kathryn received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University. With certifications in both critical care and medical cardiology, Kathryn has spent her career focusing on the care of cardiovascular patients in the Coronary Care Unit and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.Specializing in cardiovascular medicine, she has also evolved her skill set in treating cosmetic and medical venous disease.
A strong provider-patient relationship based on honesty, confidentiality and empathy is central to Kathryn’s care practices. She believes in working with her patients to create a comprehensive plan designed to address their individual health needs and goals. She encourages collaboration amongst the healthcare team and practices patient focused care.
Zoe Telgheder has been working in healthcare for the past 6 years. Initially as a medical receptionist in an urgent care, then as a graduate nurse in primary and urgent care. She received her nursing degree from SUNY Orange in New York in 2018. She began a career and passion in cardiovascular medicine shortly after receiving her nursing license. She worked in an outpatient cardiology office in the state of New York. Her initial draw to medicine started after working as a licensed veterinary technician. Nursing has become an integral part of her life as she has a dedication in caring for others. At AHVI, she is hopeful to expand on her skills and knowledge related to cardiovascular medicine by working as a team to achieve patient goals.
In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors. Hiking, fly fishing, and watching hockey are some of her hobbies. She enjoys cooking and catering to her two cats, Olive and Ellis.
Director of Clinical Care Coordination
Meghan Sheehan RT RCIS is the current Director of Clinical Care Coordination at the vascular Center of Excellence@AHVI. She is a certified Radiographic Technologist and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. Meghan began her career in 2003 working in Interventional radiology @ Hunterdon Medical Center. From there, she was recruited to the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory where she thrived as an expert scrub assist and clinical lead for technology and training. In 2019, Meghan went on to become the Clinical Coordinator and Assistant Manager at the Raritan Vascular Center as part of the Atlantic Health Systems.
Her level of expertise across the interventional, endovascular, and radiographic space is unparalleled. She brings an extremely unique clinical skill set as a proceduralist and years of procedural lab management and leadership.
In her personal time Meghan is a Purebred dog breeder. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as being outdoors and active!
Robin Enea, LPN
Robin Enea is an LPN and has worked in the healthcare setting for the past 30 years, in areas ranging from nursing home care, hospital staff nursing, family practice nurse to cardiology clinical manager and procedure scheduling coordinator. Robin started as a nurse’s aide, a job she is thankful for as it opened her eyes to her passion. It had always been her childhood dream to become a nurse, one she finally achieved by attending evening classes at Somerset County Technical Institute while her daughter was very young. Meeting the needs of her patients and families is a priority she takes very seriously on a daily basis.
Robin lives in Kentucky and works remotely from her home. She loves spending time with her daughter Sara and two beautiful granddaughters, Jordan and Reese.
Certified Medical Assistant
Denise Kaczanowski is a Certified Medical Assistant. Denise graduated from Raritan Valley Community College in 2015. While attending, she was fascinated learning about the heart and knew cardiovascular disease was her passion. Denise started her medical assistant career at a large cardiovascular practice where she learned a wealth of knowledge. She feels that with a more intimate practice, she will be able to really get to know her patients well. Denise strives to make each patient’s experience positive, with the patient leaving feeling understood and respected.
Denise enjoys spending her free time with her family, fishing, and relaxing at the family home on Lake Champlain in Vermont.
Certified Medical Assistant
Jamie Gatto is a Certified Medical Assistant who graduated from Anthem Institute in 2009. She has been working in the healthcare field for over 10 years providing care for patients in many different settings from a large hospital to an intimate family practice. Her true passion is helping people and providing sincere, empathetic care to patients and their families. “When I can make my patients feel comfortable and smile in the midst of whatever health crisis they are facing it is incredibly fulfilling … something I was born to do.”
Jamie and her husband recently bought their first home in Hunterdon County where they live with their two dogs, Charlie & Opie. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to country concerts & watching football on Sundays
Kim Siani is a Medical Assistant. Kim graduated from Everest Insititute in 2009. She began her career as a Medical Assistant in 2010. Prior to joining our team, Kim exercised her professional skills in Family Medicine as well as Dermatology. Kim makes it her priority that each patient is given the medical attention they deserve and need.
Outside of work, Kim is known as “Mom” to her two sons. In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and family.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
My name is Carla Ramirez I am certified clinical medical assistant. I graduated from Berkeley College in 2014. I started my clinical career at a pediatric office to general medicine prior to joining our AHVI team. Taking care of patients and their families with compassionate care is my top priority.
Outside of work I enjoy attending my daughters sport events: cheer and softball. I enjoy being outside- riding quads, cruising on the Harley, going to drive-in theaters, traveling and love to spend quality time with my family and friend. My daughter is who motivates me to become a better person each day.
Patient Care Tech
LeeAnn Gattone MA, has been working in healthcare for the past 18 years. She started her journey as a Patient Care Tech in a very busy ER. LeeAnn became a CMA in 2014 and began working in Dermatology. As a CMA, starting a new specialty can be challenging, however LeeAnn thrives on learning new things and expanding her knowledge. LeeAnn was taught that as long as you choose a career path that you truly love then you will never work a day in your life. Being a part of a team that values patient care and building relationships is top priority. She is willing to go the extra mile for our patients as she knows first hand what it’s like to be on the other side.
Her son Dominic has a very rare Metabolic disorder and heart failure. She knows what it means to have a medical team that truly understands and cares about her loved one, which is her goal at AHVI. LeeAnn loves spending time with her children. She golfs with her daughter, plays video games with her middle son, and loves being outside exploring with her youngest son.
Insurance Precertification Coordinator and Medical Receptionist
Margaret Herman is an insurance precertification coordinator and medical receptionist. She has many years of experience working with patients/clients. She was a hairstylist for 38 years where she collaborated with her clients to achieve their desired personal look and has been working with medical patients for the last 8 years. This experience has given her the opportunity to become a compassionate, caring, honest team member who enjoys helping people receive the care and treatment they need. She enjoys working with insurance companies for the benefit of our patients.
Margaret is married with 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her grandchildren and niece. She enjoys gardening, hiking and spending time with her family, learning new things and interacting with patients.
Technical Director of Non-Invasive Ultrasound Testing
Julie Cardoso serves as the Technical Director of Non-Invasive Ultrasound Testing. She has been passionate about ultrasound for over a decade. After graduating ultrasound diagnostic school in 2005, she went on to obtain three registry credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, a Registered Vascular Technologist, and a Registered Phlebology Sonographer. Having assisted numerous ultrasound laboratories in echocardiograms and non-invasive vascular testing, she is knowledgeable in all aspects of laboratory function. Through the implementation of her unique, innovative system for laboratory function, Julie Cardoso not only performs ultrasounds but also supports her technical staff via modern education and advanced imaging techniques, while simultaneously improving laboratory function and most importantly patient care.
Julie and her four gorgeous children inspire her every day. She enjoys exercising, hiking, boating, surfing, flying, long walks on the beach, and spending quality time with her family.
