The AHVI Research Newsletter — Fall 2026
Local Participation. Lasting Impact.
At Advanced Heart and Vascular Institute of Hunterdon, clinical research connects our community with the questions shaping the future of cardiovascular care. This fall, we celebrate an upcoming national presentation from a study our patients helped advance, prepare to launch a new peripheral artery disease trial, and continue our work across cardiovascular prevention and treatment.
From Hunterdon to the National Stage
PARAMOUNT at AHA
Last year, AHVI participated in PARAMOUNT, a Cleerly-sponsored study evaluating whether personalized care informed by artificial intelligence analysis of coronary CT angiography can improve the evaluation and management of patients with symptoms suggesting coronary artery disease.
“Can a more detailed understanding of coronary plaque help physicians make better decisions about medical treatment and further testing?”
PARAMOUNT’s primary results are scheduled for presentation on November 7, 2026, at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions in Chicago. We look forward to learning what the findings reveal and sharing their implications with our patients and referring clinicians.
To our PARAMOUNT participants: thank you. Your involvement helped bring this research from a clinical question to a national scientific discussion.
Coming Soon
ROXI-PALISADE
AHVI is preparing to launch ROXI-PALISADE, a Phase 3 study evaluating investigational therapies targeting factor XI, a protein involved in blood clotting, in patients who have recently undergone a procedure to restore blood flow to the legs because of symptomatic peripheral artery disease.
Restoring circulation is an important step in treating PAD. Our commitment extends beyond the procedure to studying approaches that may improve patients’ longer-term vascular health.
We look forward to introducing this research opportunity to eligible patients once the study opens at AHVI. Our research team will provide details about screening, participation, and study requirements.

Continuing Our Work
TRANSFORM — A Closer Look at Coronary Disease
Can prevention become more effective when treatment is guided by the amount and characteristics of coronary plaque? TRANSFORM compares AI-guided care with traditional risk-factor care to see whether this approach reduces cardiovascular events.
OCEAN(a) — Addressing Inherited Cardiovascular Risk
Focused on elevated lipoprotein(a) — an inherited cardiovascular risk factor — and an investigational treatment designed to lower it, studied through an outcomes trial and a coronary imaging substudy.
REACT-AF — A More Personalized Anticoagulation Strategy
Comparing continuous anticoagulation with a personalized strategy in which smartwatch-detected atrial fibrillation guides defined treatment periods in selected patients.
ZENITH — A New Approach to Hypertension Research
Evaluating zilebesiran, an investigational injection given every six months, in patients with uncontrolled hypertension and elevated cardiovascular risk.
GREAT — Advancing PAD Treatment
The GREAT Atherectomy Trial evaluates the Golazo atherectomy device for lower-extremity revascularization in peripheral artery disease.
V-INTERVENTION — Prevention After Intervention
Studying inclisiran to lower LDL cholesterol after coronary or peripheral vascular intervention — keeping prevention central after the procedure.

A Note of Thanks
Research advances because patients volunteer, clinicians refer, and dedicated teams carry the work forward. We are grateful to everyone who makes this possible at AHVI.
Together, we are contributing to evidence that may improve how cardiovascular disease is prevented and treated — for our community and beyond.
