WALK FOR YOUR LIFE

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) Awareness Event

Please join us for a “Walk in the Park”.

Our goal is to get every person in attendance to begin a 10,000 steps a day regimen to improve their health.
This event is in recognition of Peripheral Arterial Disease awareness (PAD) month.
PAD is a quality of life altering condition that can lead to amputation in its most severe form and also be associated with a substantial increase in the risks of stroke and heart attacks. One of the mainstays of the condition is to treat it’s symptoms and also improve quality of life by WALKING as often as possible.
Open to all, but we highly encourage smokers, diabetics or people with multiple cardiovascular risk factors like hypertension or high cholesterol to get started on a daily walking regimen. Bring a friend or relative to assist you.

Hope to see you there!

Take the beginning steps to good health.
